The Organizing Committee was composed of representatives from all sectors dedicated to helping women survive and thrive. Members committed to activate constituencies, generate session topics and themes, and use their networks to mobilize country participation.
Committee organizations represented a diverse range of issues—including education, human rights, gender, HIV and AIDS, micro-enterprise—and came from virtually every region. They worked with the Core Planning Group to define and support the conference. |
